Has anyone stayed at the Hyatt Grand Cypress?

Hi All!

It seems like a few people will flame me if I don't post anything positive about the Disney hotels.... :rolleyes: Yes, some of Disney hotels are nice but THEY ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!

Has anyone tried the Grand Hyatt Cypress!?? This place blows away The Polynesian hotel at WDW by far! IT's a 4 or 5 star hotel and is the top two in Orlando with the Ritz Carlton being the top Hotel.

My boyfriend and I went last August and got a ...get this...a $99.00 a RATE PER NIGHT, that was a government rate, but they also have other really great rates i.e. internet rates, AAA rates, AARP rates, Hyatt Gold passport rates etc.

I highly recommend this hotel....

No one has stayed here..... :guilty:

This place is really not to be missed, it's better than the Polynesian....

Check it out if you get a chance, they're are plenty of discounts....There is also onsight horsebacking riding, golfing, boating, a lake, jogging trail etc. The grounds are superb.....

I haven't stayed there, but saw Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel's "Great Hotels" show when it was on. It looked amazing!

We have stayed at the HRGC but not in fifteen years so I really didn't think I was qualified to post. It was, without a doubt, our favorite hotel. Once we had our kids, DH and I preferred to stay at a timeshare style place for the extra room.

It is a wonderful hotel with a spectacular pool. We were always very happy staying there. If we ever go to Orlando again without the kids, this would be our choice of hotel.
