This is from a guy's perspective, but whenever I go to a hotel I end up meeting a bunch of girls, so I guess its good advice. You have to be ridiculously outgoing. If I see a girl, I always just walk right up to her and start talking. You can't be afraid of rejection, and girls rarely make the first move anyway. And make sure you have ideas of what to say in your head, so you dont start stuttering and stammering.

I can help! Ok bud here's the deal. This is what you have to do. You're walking by the pool to scope out the girl situation. You see a fair maiden that catches your eye. And she sees you! It is very important that you know the girl sees you and is interested. Play "cat and mouse" with her for a while. Make a few passes by her. Then camp in a chair for a few. If she is really interested, she may walk by you after you make the first move. If this happens, it's on. You know she's interested, and what do you have to lose? MAKE YOUR MOVE!

First off, Welcome to the DIS! I'm Katie and feel free to PM if you have any questions. Well this is from a girl's perspective but..
OK totally just say "Hi" to the girl and make small talk like "where are ya from". I would totally love it if guys did this more often- I'm sure most of the girls on this board would agree with me!!;) Like other said, be outgoing!! Doesn't really matter what people think of you at WDW- odds are, you'll never see them again so just be outgoing!! I was like this on a recent Disney Cruise I went on and met so many people (girls and guys) and had a great time! Also, find out if the hotel where you are staying has a meeting place for teens. I know that BWI/BWV has the Community Hall which I guess could be a "meeting place" but I'm not sure about other hotels.
Whatever you do, have a great trip!:D

I am with AFgirl all the way!!! From a girl's perspective, I think, that is definitley the way to go!!!
Well, I'm probably the shyest person (almost) you could ever meet. If I'm talking to my friends I can goof off, but I usually don't in public lol If I was unbelievably gorgeous, I would wait for some one to come over to me. But.. since I'm not I would just say yea, if he comes over he comes over, I'd rather be swimming anyway.
I know I'm not much help, but just wanted to add me ¢10.

I don't think I'd do anything, because I'm also very shy. I'm far too busy in WDW for that kind of thing anyway!.:p :) lol

If It was me, I would like someone to ask me to go some where if it is to restaruant or to the pools!!! It would work out cause then you can talk and hang out :)

This is coming from a girl, but if a guy was interested in me I would want him to try and start a conversation with me. If you stutter and stammer it's ok, girls usually understand that people get nervous and chances are that they probably are too. If all else fails, you could tell her about the DIS, after all, if you're in Disney it probably means that you're a Disney fan.
