We have 3 kids that will be 5 and under when we go. Do you think the FOTL is a worthwhile advantage of staying on-site if we'll be spending most (90%) of our time on the kiddie rides and shows? We really prefer to have 2 rooms or a suite, so I was thinking the HI Universal suites might be cost-effective, otherwise we'd probably try for the Ent. rate at HRH.

I would think with small children of that age the advantage for you would be the easy access to the parks, especially if you have the need for nap breaks in the afternoon.

Exactly, and if you need to split up (somebody gets cranky or whatever) you can just walk back easily to resort in a few minutes. Pool is awesome for little ones.

Have you tried finding the best discount possible for the kidsuites? We stayed in the ones at PBH and it was great (pricey, even with a discount!).

Try to stay at HRH for certain. On our second day at the parks aruond 2 DD started loosing it. She wanted to go home and take a nap. We wlaked the 10 min to the hotel. turned on the tv and chilled out for a couple of hours. She never went to sleep but rested and was ready to hit the parks and CW untill 11.
