Is it buffet? Very crowded? Better to go somewhere else?

DH and I ate at the pasta supper last year....it was just that. Pasta. There were plain noodles, some with sauce, pesto, meatballs, salad, bread, chocolate cake...it was not anything fancy by any means...more like a regular meal at home, actually! It was what we would consider decent food, at a decent price. The line appeared long when we arrived (5-5:30 I think...) but went fairly quickly. While not gourmet, it did the trick....and we met some neat people! We are planning to eat there again this year as well.

One more thing....I'd strongly recommend that you eat the same type of meal that you have been accustomed to before any of your long training runs....we always eat a high-carb (pasta!) meal before our really long runs, so for us the pasta buffet is the best choice!
