I have a ressie with Alamo for tomorrow and I am pretty sure they charge for spouses.

TIA!

National will not charge your spouse as an additional driver if you are a member of the Emerald Club. You can get a free membership by following the link for Turner Travel at MouseSavers.com - Emerald Club (http://www.mousesavers.com/national.html#emeraldclub) .

Yes, the Alamo onsite in WDW seems to charge additional drivers $7/day.
I have never had to pay for additional driver with National onsite at WDW (Emerald Club members).

I haven't seen a Dollar onsite at WDW-where is it located?

They are also in MCO where all the on-site agencies are at the airport.

L&M possibly may not charge for a spouse. When I was going with my adult nephew they asked whether or not he was a spouse, so I suppose they would not have charged if he was.

Here's the info from their website:
Additional Driver
• The additional driver must qualify in the same manner as the primary renter, but will not be held responsible for the payment or damage.
• A fee of $5.00 per day will be charged for each additional driver.
• This charge can be waived if the additional driver is a spouse or life partner.

Good to know!

I did manage to get the additional driver fee waived since I have a Sam's Club card - yay!

I'm pretty sure Avis doesn't charge for the spouse to drive either.

If you have an Entertainment Book Coupon for Alamo, it gives you a free additional driver. It doesn't say it on the coupon, but the free additional driver will show up on your reservation when you're done. Someone also mentioned that they were able to get a free additional driver at Alamo with a coupon from Costco.

L & M definitely doesn't charge for your spouse, and Avis doesn't either (even with Priceline).

My mistake-thought you were wanting onsite AT WDW as opposed to MCO.

Other than Alamo and National are there any other onsite At WDW?

I know this is too late for the OP but just in case anyone else was wondering, we booked with Alamo using our Costco discount code
(and a $20 off coupon for the travel book I picked up there) and also got an additional drive for free. We have 8 days, unlimited miles and an additonal driver for $129.15 including all taxes fees etc. This also for a mid size.
