Do you want it in your siggie or just in one post. If you want it in the siggie just open your edit signature and add it there .

They have to be on a photo hosting site then just click on the insert an image icon put in the url and then hit the image icon again.

Thanks Squid! I thought maybe that was the problem :scratchin

I have been meaning to look up a hosting site and have finally gotten off my rear and done so!

Now the only glitch is that I need to post a certain number of times before I can add pictures!

I guess I just can't win...

OMG, I'm getting so incredibly excited! I have so much to do this week, I'm shipping down a box filled with our diapers, wipes, baby food, and other baby items that we don't feel like dragging on the plane from Wash, DC. My DD is getting much better at eating table food, but I'm not so confident in that to not bring a ton of baby food just in case!

We have so much to do! I am going to start putting our warm-ish weather clothing on the guest bed to decide what to bring, at least I know we won't be needing them for the rest of the week here.

I just can't believe it's coming up so soon, I just can't wait!!!!!!!

We live in Centreville VA. Are you downtown DC?

You are so smart to ship that stuff down! Carrying baby stuff requires an army of adults!

I am so excited, too!! I have my one daughter's Sweet 16 party this Saturday, so I'm up to my eyeballs in dresses, heels and tiaras! LOL Haven't been able to spend as much time fixating on cruise as normal...or getting ready for it.

I'm in a little bit of a panic, but I know it will all get done in time. We leave next Thursday AM, and come H - E - Double Hockeysticks I will be on that plane!!!

My daughter just turned eleven and would probably love to exchange emails prior to the cruise. She's always wanting to use the computer, but I don't give in often. There's a dangerous cyber world out there! But in this case, I think it would be cool. Her name is Elyssa.

Hey disneylover5!

I just have to ask...Did your girls have their hair braided on the ship or elsewhere?? If it's not too impolite may I ask how much it cost? I was thinking of braiding my DD's hair like that before we go (it's so much easier to care for when done that way!) But I won't do as nice of a job as that :earboy2: Would love to know any details you can share!

Thanks!

We do it on the ship. It is the first thing we sign up for. I think we sign up by the Walt Disney Theatre @ 5pm right after the lifeboat drill, if I remember correctly. It will be in the Navigator as soon as you get on board. We do it as early in the trip as possible....so they can enjoy it. (remember to bring spray suntan stuff for the head where the braids expose the skin). I think I pay $20 for each girl and give a $5 tip. They charge by the braid,if I remember correctly. Gretchen is thinking of having her whole head done this time...

DH is a procrastinator. Just when I thought we had finally determined which shore excursions we wanted to go on and I was able to sit down and try to get him to help me acutally make the reservations...there aren't any spaces left on any of the excursions we had been thinking about.

So, I'm trying to think outside the box. I've been checking around and there is a pirate cruise (Jolly Roger) that departs from Georgetown Harbor. Has anyone else taken this crusie? The online schedule doesn't have any crusies listed for Tuesdays, but they also say they have a seperate cruise ship passenger schedule, so I'm looking into that.

Any other thoughts outside the box others may have already had? I'm all ears. :dumbo:

Oh Kim, that stinks! I'm not going to be much help, all my planning has been with teens in mind. You could try Cruisecritic.com and see if they have any ideas you might be able to pick up on in the 'ports of call' boards. They may be more "outside the box" than the DIS boards when it comes to excursions on your own. That is where I got the name of Native Way that we are using for Grand Cayman. Just a thought...and sending some pixiedust:

Hi Kim! I reserved 3 or 4 excursions on line then changed them all to 3 or 4 outside the box trips! My DH was going to go alone in Cayman on the Black Princess to fish for the day but when I saw the size of the boat now were going too, bringing the toddler Oh Boy :Pinkbounc The Captain said he could more than accommadate the children Here goes :yo-yo: The other trip I scheduled was with shoretrips.com in Nassau my 11 yr old DS wanted to swim with the dolphins and I couldnt get a swim with DCL or Dolphin encounter but I was able to book for 1:30 with shoretrips. I just hope that things will be okay.Ive heard great things about Capt. Marvin in Cayman and Nativeway too!!

Morning All,

We went to Kohl's last night, too. Bought a black skirt for me, a white piratey shirt for DD10, a suit for DS6 (he looks SO handsome), big hoop earrings for me and DD10, a white skirt for DD3, and some jewelry with small coins hanging from it. We're set for pirate night. Luckily we had some stuff at home, so we didn't have to spend too much $$. Of course DH still thinks we spent too much $$, but we did buy DS6 two suits, one to fit him now and one for in a year or two.

My dad is loaning one of his expandable suit cases to us to use for the cruise. He also loaned us his camera to make sure we took pictures. Tomorrow we're going to get into that Disney feeling when we see Beauty & The Beast on stage.

It doesn't look like DD3 is going to be potty trained before the cruise. Sometimes she's real good. Other times she just doesn't care how wet she is. I just hope she isn't bored in the nursery. The pictures I've seen look like it's mainly for babies.

I guess I should go to work now. :rolleyes1

While I was traveling on business this weekend, the DW found a swimsuit that she actually liked and a dress combination that looks great on her. It is fun to see her get so excited about going.

The rest of the family, from Alaska, are already at Disney World and will meet us on the ship. I would imagine that the grandkids are expending a lot of energy.

See you all later. Ron

Does anyone know what time we are leaving Key West? I thought it was 7:30, but reading the reports from the 1/14 cruise, they stayed until 1:30 am.

5 days, but who's counting???

Went to Wal-mart to buy red sashes. Ended up with LOTS of other stuff. I bought lime green shirts for us all to wear the first day of the cruise. I'm getting so excited. :Pinkbounc I tried on all the pieces to my pirate costume this evening and it looks pretty good. pirate: Who says you can't get a costume outside of Halloween? The great part is almost all of it can be reused in day to day wear.

We're leaving Friday morning! :woohoo:

See you guys in (count 'em) FIVE days! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm not going to even think about the fact I haven't started packing yet. The clothes are in the wash. One step at a time. :cool1:

Well, er ummmm... I was packed, so I thought....

Have to unpack and repack... I forgot the formal and semi formal nights, so that is 2 less outfits I need in that suitcase... Also packed too many to begin with, just because we are going to be gone 10 days, I only need 8 nights minus 2 of casual dress clothes for dinner... The other days we will be in WDW and they don't have a dress code... :lmao: so off I go to unpack and repack.. See what happens when you pack at 11:30 at night.... :surfweb:

DW & I flying down tomorrow (Sat) early, early. I know it's a bit of a rush trying to get it all together -- work schedules kinda made the decision for us. Can't wait to stretch out and relax. Soon to catch up with everyone already @ WDW or Port Canaveral -- back to counting socks for my suitcase. DCL here we Come!

Hey Everyone

We're back, we're unpacked, we're almost done laundry!!!

We had such a great time! After 8 cruises, I have to say I still don't know how Disney does it. Each one is better than the one before!!

Can't wait for next year already! Anyone else booked yet?

We have booked for Nov 4th 2006, Western. About 40 of us so far!!

We drove back to DC last night. We pulled into the garage at 9:55pm. Because so many flights were delayed with the bad weather up and down the East Coast, we beat home several of our friends who flew home!!

Can't wait to go back,

We're back too. Have mountains of laundry to do...

DH and I were talking about how we can get back on that shippy poo on the ride home. I told him I didn't think that I could wait another 2 years. I'm thinking we have to figure something else out...

I got a huge hug from DS13 (ooops, 14 today). He said that was the best cruise he has ever had. We all agreed, it really was a wonderful time...
