We are headed to Disney's Hilton Head resort this summer and I am looking for the best way to get there from South Jersey (Marlton). About how long of a trip is it?
Also, looking for recommendations for where to stay along the way!
Thanks for any info!

We have made the trip to/from Vineland, NJ - Charleston/SC on several occasions. With very few stops and little traffic that trip should take approx 10-11 hours. Add 2.0 to get to Hilton Head.
Best route is Delaware Memorial Bridge to I95 South. Make certain to avoid Baltimore/Washington any time near rush hour(s). If traveling during daylight best to leave Marlton between 8:30 am and 11:30 am.
Stay on I-95 to Highway 278 in South Carolina. This will take you directly to HHI.
Fayetteville, NC is an excellent place to stop. Several hotel chains right off 95. Just past mispoint of trip.

We're only 20 minutes from you. We've driven multiple times and have done both straight through and overnight stop. I'll never do the overnight stop again. We leave around 4 a.m. and we're there for dinner. If you have AAA, get a trip tick to see where construction might be and alternate routes if you need them. We usually go on a Sunday so we don't encounter the traffic in D.C. and Richmond. We'll be there in August! :cool1:

BWVDenise - We will be there in August, too!!! We are currently booked for 7/31-8/5, but may switch to 8/22-27. We are also BWV owners. Where are you in NJ?
Thanks again!
