Ok so the scrappers have a challenge evey month. What do you say all of us who do any kind of craft and hang out here set a monthlky goal for ourselves? Maybe this way all those projects will get done. I will start.
I will knit 40 rows on the blanket I am working on
40 row on the scarf and spend at least 10 hours on the cross stitch I started. It is hard to say I will do x zmount since it is big and I just started it.
This is my January craft goal. I will report in throughout the month.

Well, I really should be challenging myself to actually complete a SB page instead of just looking for ideas, but....procrastination thy name is piratesmate! ;)
For other crafts....
- I need to finish 3 frakturs this month including framing.
- I need to teach DD Quilling (she just got stuff for C'mas) by mid-February and so she can help me make cards for a 50th anniversary party by the end of March.
- I probably also need to limit DD's knitting time - or at least find a way to teach her something besides scarves! ;) Unfortunately, that's something I could never learn myself. I can only crochet.

If you want her to try somthing else I have a patter for a blanket at home that I think is just straight knit but you do it in strips and alternate colors. Really basic just like scarves only you do them longer and join them together. If you think it is something she could do I will find it and let you know the particulars.

That sounds like a great idea! Thank you! :teeth:
And I just realized that I posted much longer goals than for a month. I got side-tracked while I was typing it up & came back to it about an hour later to finish. I guess I forgot what the directions were.

I work until late tonight but I will try to get that for you in the next couple of days. It is in the book I am using and I know It is not really a hard pattern just Color changes and carry throughs but that is easily changed to just color changes so that the blocks become a checkerboard pattern. I have only been knitting since May and This pattern is easy so she should not have a problem with it.
Don't worry about not following directions!!! HEHE I rarely do so not a problem. I only started this because I thought if I actually set goals and told someone I may actually do it. HEHE Dh said to me last night as I was watching TV and working on nothing that my cross stitch was getting done fast that way!!!

Good idea. Since I really started to scrap, my other crafts have suffred. I've been workingon an afghan for about a year. Plus, I need to do a baby balnket by May. Plus, I started a scarf in August that's about half done. I think my goal this month will be to finish the scarf (good idea to finish when it's still winter) and do 10 squares on the regular blanket.
