Hi! Anyone else going on the Wonder for the May 22 4-night cruise?? I've been on several other cruise lines, but never on Disney, and never with my children (2 daughters, 15 and 10 years old). I'm so excited and really looking forward to it. :cheer2:
The ship's sold out, so I'm hoping to meet some of my fellow cruise mates here!

Try Song airlines. It is run by Delta so it is a respectable name. We are flying round trip for about $225. Can't hurt to look right?

Another first-time-cruise family here. We have 2 kids DD10 and DS12. We are getting so excited.....only 38 more days until we set sail.

Maybe our daughter's can email each other to get to know one another ahead of time. My 12 year old niece is going also.

I'll see what my DD thinks about emailing your DD. She tends to be a bit shy at times, but she may take to the idea of having someone to look for in the Oceaneers Lab. The next problem would be figuring out how to PM you to get your email, or resetting my profile so I can receive PMs.

Yep, I found it, thanks to you. If your DD is shy, emailing might be just the thing because they could get to know each other without actually having to see/talk to/entertain/etc. one another. Then, hopefully, once they began emailing each other, once they met on the ship, they would actually already know each other somewhat?! It might help her to already have a friend onboard. My daughter is a little shy too, and I think this would be a great way for her to feel a little more secure going into the clubs--if she knew there might be someone there she had already gotten to know. Let me know!

My DH and I are on the May22 cruise, too, with our DS who is 6. First Dis cruise for all of us, and can't wait! I think I'm more excited than my son! I'm surprised it sold out so soon, I though we were one of the few school districts that were out already by then.

The cruise fever is starting to set in in a major way. Just bought DD & DS pirate costumes (they were out of the adult ones) and DD is parading around the house in hers as I type....and looking way too cool for herself. pirate:

I just read where someone on OUR cruise got their docs!! Nope, I don't have mine, but I'm anxiously awaiting! Now every trip to the mailbox will be filled with anticipation!!

This pirate thing is getting way too out of control at our house. After buying costumes for the kids last weekend, DH has ordered himself a shirt and hat and is, as I type, working on his boot spats. We bought a pattern and material to make his vest....or hire someone to make it. Then yesterday, he ordered a costume for me. That's all well and good, but he will have spent a small fortune by the time the ship sails. Just where is that pirate treasure when you need it. pirate: I'm sure we'll wear them to dinner since we have late seating at this point, but I'm not sure about wearing them to the show before that. I suppose that with all the time/money invested in them, we should wear them as much as possible.

For all those who received their docs, did you go through a travel agent or DCL? I booked through DU and am anxiously awaiting my first ever cruise docs for our first ever cruise!!!

I booked through a travel agent. My docs came from her via Fed Ex, not UPS. She said they came to her from DCL through UPS and she sent them out Fed Ex 2 day to us. Can't wait to see you all there! We can watch the shuttle launch together. :grouphug: How cool is that? We get to see the shuttle go up?!?!

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't realize there is a scheduled launch. I looked a couple months ago and didn't see it, so I stopped checking the Kennedy website. Was this rescheduled from a prior launch?

Third time cruising Disney for me,DW and 11yr old DS.
Just as excited as 1st time. If you have never been on Disney before,you will be surprised how easy everything is as far as check-in and boarding.
First thing after boarding head down to sign your kids up for the clubs.My son heads there after morning buffet and we hardly see him until dinner.

We and DS age 12 are going on our 1st Disney cruise (2nd cruise, we Cruised on Carnival last year). I can't wait....I've been so busy...it snuck up on me!

This will be DBF's first trip to anything Disney and I am so happy to be showing him the "wonder" and magic in all things Dis!!!

Okay - It's not time to panic yet, but I see some of y'all have packed already and I'm still working on the list of what to pack!!! MY DD has basically packed herself. MY DS will probably throw things in a duffel bag when I threaten not to take him. Then there is my DH who is STILL working on his pirate costume!! :crazy: pirate: Just look for the Johnny Depp wanna-be (but older) and you'll see what I mean.

We are doing the land/sea and leave tomorrow for a night at the All Sports then the rest at the Beach Club. We bought the DCL transfers and from what I read we will be on the regular bus not the Magical Express, and those tags were in the cruise docs. I hope it works out for you!

Nehdeh, if you cancell your room at Atlantis you may have a good chance of getting a day room when and if you get there. Some vacationers may be leaving early or cancelling due to the storm.I am trying to stay hopeful that we can get there. Need pixie dust !! :wizard:

Can someone refresh my memory on how to book a day room at Atlantis? I know it's been on the board a hundred times, but I always just skimmed over it because I knew I already had the rooms at the Comfort Suites. Now, I guess, I'd better find out all the info on day rooms!
