the mickey statues are coming to DC

the 75 mickey statues are coming to washington, dc from march 19 to april 10 (or the 30th not entirely clear). they are going to be in the plaza of the Ronald Regan building and it's free! (be warned, the cherry blossom festival is running the 26th of march through the 10 of april). Pull out your camera! :D maggie

Yeah! I'm so glad. BTW I mad a mini album for my mom and dad of all the seahorses for Christmas. They loved it. 3 of them were on display at the Christmas light show at Ann Marie gardens.

I am so excited to see this post! We followed the "cows on Parade" here in NewYork. I have a picture with my kids and the Mickey Cow @ South Street Sea Port during
Fleet Week.

Big Giant Mickeys is a definate for us! Just the excuse I needed to Visit DC & get to Potamac Mills for some shopping :)

According to the site they will be in Disneyland Jan. 10 - Feb. 22 and then to Wash. DC for March 19 - April 30. I think they will then be acutioned off for charity. Here is a link to the site http://disney.go.com/inside/mickey75/about_tour.html

I saw them last year in Disney World and they are great, I did a scrapbook featuring all the 77 statues. (There were 2 extra made in case replacements were needed)
