Ponderosa is a little cheaper but does not include drinks. I've heard a lot of good about GC breakfast. Has anyone tried either or both??
Let me know your opinions. This would be for breakfast on the last morning before heading home. We will be a family of 2 adults, DD12, DD9, DS6.
Ponderosa prices: $3.99 for adults
$2.99 children 6-10
free children 5 and under with paying adult
Golden Corral prices: $6.49 adults
$4.99 children 3-9
free children 2 and under

I have never been to Ponderosa for breakfast, and i'm not crazy about there Dinner. So, i say do the Golden Corral, they have a awesome buffet.

Although I have never eaten at a Golden Corral in the Orlando area, the Golden Corral breakfast around here is awesome. Before I had any kids I was the Crew Leader of the bakery at our local Golden Corral. I love, love, love their breakfast. Our breakfast included: made to order omlettes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, potatoes, pancakes, hot fruit toppings, french toast, bacon, sausage, freshly made cinnamon rolls (I loved making those!), buttermilk buscuits, bagels, awesome breakfast pizza and toast. I'm sure I have forgotten something. I would pick Golden Corral over Ponderosa anyday!

The Ponderosa has a good breakfast buffet. We've been a few times. Its the usual huge buffet, anything and everything you could want. Everything was good and the price is great.

BelleBeautyandtheBeast hit about everything I remember on the breakfast buffet at Golden Corral except the breakfast quiche, pretty good if its hot, usually spinach, eggs & cheese in a pie crust. The cinnamon rolls are absolutely yummy as are the biscuits.

Having eaten at both, I prefer the Golden Coral. Juice comes with it and the will make eggs to order. You can usually find coupons in the local free papers that will discount the breakfast.

I was impressed with the Ponderossa buffet. Very good food & great value for the $$$$. Never tried Golden Coral.

We've been to Ponderosa (not sure exactly where) and 2 of the Golden Corrals near WDW. GC was nicer and a better deal because it included drinks. There are coupons around for both.

Can someone tell me exactly where the Golden Corral is?? Sounds like a place we could stop on our way out to the airport on our last day....
Thanks!

Here ya go, Sammy! Just click on which location you want and it gives a map and everything. I think the Vineland location is the closest to Cypress Pointe, Vistana, etc., all those condos close to DD.
Hope that helps.
