Bump OK, I have not called because I still have time before we go and stay at SOG and I did not want to tie up the phones, so if anyone can let me know what they found out I would greatly appreciate it. Do they have the same options as the Disney tickets do?? just no taxes?? Please someone!!

someone posted the prices on the theme park board. We are looking at 6 day passes with hopping and it looked like $4 off and no tax.

I am interested in this too. We are thinking about some trips in 2006. Maybe we should just check out what is left at the MOWR offices in our home bases?

I have the new rates from SOG for tickets. I received their brochure in the mail yesterday. Is that what you are looking for?

Bob Bon, I do not know if that is what I am looking for. What I am looking for is the price of the new tickets at SOG. Are they the same price as Disney's except there is no taxes? i.e. at Disney adult 6 day park hopper expiring ticket is going to be $236.43 with tax and a child 197.03 with tax. So I am figuring SOG ticket price will be adult $222.00 and child $185.00. Am I right? Thank you for checking it for me. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc .

It looks like SOG sent you an old brochure. The tickets they are listing are still called Park Hoppers. I would call SOG to be on the safe side. Some people who have stayed recently have posted that SOG is selling the MYW tickets. There have been different listings for the price they paid though.

Tough as it is, if you need to know soon, I would brave the hold time and call SOG directly.

Just my 2 cents.

I spoke with SOG attraction office last week and for a adult 7 day base ticket is $195, and the child base is $151. So for park hopping option just add $35, which makes the adult price $230, and the child $186. Not so sure what the non expiring option cost. Hope this helps.

If you go to the SOG web site, and check under reservations. You will find the ticket pricing for 2005. :earseek:

Actually, on the SOG website you have to go to the attractions page for tickets prices and they haven't posted the new ticket prices yet. Reservations is for rooms. They still have the old Park Hopper and the Stars and Stripes prices posted last April or May. There's at least one other thread on the DIS site that has the prices quoted. I do know the "extras" like park hopping are not discounted for SOG available tickets. The discount is on the base price of the tickets only.

I keep seeing that they are selling both park hoppers and MYW tickets until they run out of the hoppers.

I have seen a few other threads that show tickets from SOG a few dollars cheaper than the regular MYW tickets with no tax.

I've tried calling SOG a few times and can't get someone to pick up. I want to make sure advance tix from Disney are not cheaper than the SOG tix. I doubt they will be, but I still want to make sure.

I received this information from SOG attractions office yeaterday for Magic Your Way Tickets. I only asked about 4-10 day tickets. These are prices for adult tickets. Park hopper option is $35 per ticket.

Days/Price/No expire add on price
4 / 181 / 15
5 / 189 / 35
6 / 192 / 45
7 / 195 / 55
10 / 203 / 100

They do not discount add ons (park hop, no expire, plus), only the base ticket price.
Hope this helps.

Just tried to check the Shades of Green website for ticket prices and it appears that they are in the process of updating their information.

When you click on the discounted tickets link it brings up a page that says what you are looking for has been removed.

Lets hope that means they are getting ready to post prices and availability of tickets through them.

Just checked back, and guess what? Here's the link direct from their site.

Not really much of a savings. The 7-day premium adult tickets are only $5 more expensive through Discount Orlando or TicketMania, and their prices include tax.

I'm very disappointed. :sad2:

Does anyone know if SOG is going to have S&S passes, they are not listed on the new ticket price list. I was going to puchase a 7 day S&S ticket, it was $310, The magic your way is cheaper at $275

TSirgey

I keep hearing the the S&S pass probably will not be offered because Disney has done away with their length of stay passes too. I haven't seen anything official. They might sell what they have now and stop when they run out.

I don't recall price of the old Stars and stripes pass but these sure look like a great deal. Cheaper than the MYW premium pass. And the pluses are unlimited.

Bon Bon,
Just happened to have an old pricelist I printed when we went in May last year. Stars and Stripes was $310/A and $248/C. We are considering the 4/day MYW with hopper option. It will be more than the $202 we paid last year for 4 day HP, but the 5/day MYW with hopper will be a little cheaper.

aec
01-16-2005, 10:49 AM
We were also looking at the 4 day MYW w/hopper and yes they are more expensive than last years prices 4 day PH. For a few bucks more we've decided on the 6 day MYW w/hopper and we'll go to the parks on our arrival and departure day - Yeah! We would not have been willing to get the old 6 day hoppers b/c you could only get them with pluses (which we don't want) and they were more expensive.

So in the end, we are paying a little more but getting 6 days instead of 4.
