Taxi Cost from Airport to POR

Does anyone know an approximate cost for a taxi from the airport to POR? I'm trying to decide whether or not to take a Taxi or Mears - could anyone explain to me how Mears works when you get to the airport, or did I need to make reservations earlier?

This is my first trip 'on my own' and I'm getting nervous about my transportation!

We took a taxi from BWV to airport, and it was $45 + tip. That was worth it for us because there were 3 in the taxi-minivan. For 1, I don't know if it's worth it.

My DW and I always get a towncar service to get us to and from WDW. We will be staying at POR in 3 weeks and have booked with Murray-Hill Transportation (http://www.transportation2disney.com) for $80 roundtrip (with their $5 discount coupon) plus tips (around $10 each way for 2 people). A cab seems to be $45 or $50 each way plus tips so the towncar service is probably a little less and is certainly more convenient. The driver will meet you at the baggage claim area, help you with your luggage and take you right to POR's front door. You then pay him the roundtrip fare and a one-way tip (you might have a different driver for the return trip). The driver will then schedule your pick-up for your return trip. No hassles. There are several good towncar companies to choose from, although they do not all have the same prices.
We have never tried Mears so I can't give you an opinion on them but that is mass transit and not tailored to a single traveler.
