Nope! no packing! I am going to really tackle that today!

It looks to be a complete wash out for the weekend! They are forcasting 3 inches if rain (not good when the snow is still melting!) I am making my to do list of things that have to get done before monday night... Lesson plans, packing, grocery shopping (just a small trip) bank for cash etc...

Boy am I looking forward to sun and warmth, even if it is for a few days! :sunny:

2 days!!! I can't stand it!!! I am really looking forward to this trip on so many levels... Never done anything alone like this! I usually travel with DH... I CAN DO THIS!!!!

I am going to allow myself some leeway while at the world... If I see something I really want to have, I will Have it!

I CAN'T STAND IT!!! :banana: :banana: 24 hours from now we will be getting up and around and ready for the drive to the airport!!! I am so excited I jsut can't stand it!

Did my lesson plans last night for next week... I woudl hate to have to come home and do those!

I'm almost all packed.. I keep jotting notes in my passporter so I can travel light with 1 book instead of the UG, Birnbaums, Kids guide etc...

Today well will run some errands... Mail bills, get a battery for the camera, gas up the car, etc..

I am sure I'll be around here though! :sunny:

I am so excited for you! :Pinkbounc As crazy as this may sound, I love the last minute busyness that comes before a trip to WDW! :Pinkbounc Last year, DH and I planned on leaving at 3:00 p.m.for our trip to WDW in December. Well, we ended up getting on the road around 8:00 p.m. because of all the last minute stuff we had to do. It was crazy hectic, but I didn't care: we were going to WDW! :cool1:

I hope you and your daughter have a wonderful,safe, relaxing vacation that creates some special memories for both of you. :hug: Looking forward to your trip report when you come back. :teeth: :wave2:

We're BAAACCCKKKK!!! It was so great!!!!! The whole trip was so great!! DD and I had the best time together... Maybe I will have to make this annual event!! POP was a blast. We had a great room and I am soooo impressed with the resort! It is just a fun place to be! I don't think either one of us stopped stopped smiling!!!

Hi again guys!

I'll try to get that trip report done, but it is backto school for me! 10 weeks until the end of the year!!! 2 May concerts, a 1st grade musical, a 5th grade musical and a 2 -4 concert to go to be exact.... Oh yea, report cards too!

Well I can tell we are home again.. DH woke up with a fever of 103.2!!! :confused3 Maybe Sarah and I will need to head back to FLORIDA!!! Within hours her runny nose was gone!

I have to get my eating back on track this week... I ate a few too many desserts on vacation... At least I think all of the walking helped!!! I am going to journal my food again for a while so I can keep myself accountable!

In regards to the trip report, I know how hard it is to find the time...I still haven't written ours from Dec.! But, maybe you could give us a few details...did you get to ride Soarin'? What building were you in at the POP?

Good morning!

POP details... Ok... We were in the 70's building right next to classic hall.. Room 0462.. It was an awesome room! DD loved the fact that the Goofy jets were right outside the stairs to our room! Our room was very clean and mousekeeping was great! Sarah had 3 towel animals waiting for her in the window the 2nd day! She was soooo excited!!! We also loved the Hippy Dippy Pool and the kiddie pool! The resort itself is a lot of fun! I told DH we should seriously consider it for Christmas!!! We ate in the food court and brought food to our room quite a bit.. The food was very good and had a wide variety of choices! ( Unfortunately I didn't always make the best choices! ;) )

Bus service was fantastic! The longest we ever waited for a bus was 10 minutes! It took us about 12 minutes to get to the MK, 8 to AK and Epcot and 5 to MGM... Many times we were riding home on the bus with just 1 other family. We only had to stand once on a bus the whole trip!

The parks were very managable!! Didn't use fast pass once!!! We walked on Big Thunder, Splash mountain etc!!!! The longest we waited in line was for Dumbo (20 minutes)

We did Cinderella's Gala Feast at the GF and ut was WONDERFUL!!! What a great buffet! Lots of interesting choices for adults, and the typicals for kids which worked out great for us!!!!

Reality is hitting hard... Phew!!! I was in bed at 8 last night! Talked about exhausted!!!! Today should be a bit easier!!!

In all seriousness, I need to refocus esp. on the exercize! With DH being sick (He is really milking it too!) It's me doing everything. By the time I'm done with dinner and clean up, folding laundry, playing with DD, Bedtime stories, etc.. I am too tired to do anything!!! I Love DH dearly and I hope he starts to feel better soon because I can feel the stress level rise as there is not even 30 minutes of exercize time for me!

Isn't it amazing how quickly a craving will come back? Sugar is really and truly an addictive thing!

Sorry to hear your DH isn't feeling well. Isn't it funny how they can milk it way more than the kids do? :sad2: Give him another day and then tell him to suck it up!!! Wish we could have days off when someone takes care of US. :rolleyes:

I worked to hard for my results to go down the toilet!!!

I did my first outside run yesterday.. 1.5 and thought I would die!!! I had a hard time pacing myself and that got me into trouble... It is a lot harder to run outside! Boy do I have a lot of work to do!!!

Jen, your body will remember all that hard work you did and your exercise will become second nature again soon. Hang in there!

If you can't stay totally on plan, then at least pick foods that have lots of nutrition value and not a lot of refined carbs (white flour and/or sugar).

Wow, sounds like you had a great trip! Good for you and DD! Haven't stayed at POP, but it sounds like you guys liked it alot! We are in love with PO, so I'm not sure I could convince the family to stay anywhere else at this point! ;)

Hopefully you are getting back on track more and more as the days progress. Someone suggested you re-read parts of your journal to help you re-focus - THAT is a great idea! You have come so far!

Just thought I'd stop in to say "Hi!" Take care and stay on that "wagon!" :teeth:
