I am flying to Orlando here soon....and I have a very special bottle of wine I would love to bring as I am meeting my sweetheart there. Does anyone know of any kind of problem with carrying this on in my carry on? I would never put it in checked luggage for fear it would get broken or something...
and yes, I travel alot...but just not with a bottle of wine in hand....LOL
any thoughts anyone?
thanks
:p

You shouldn't have any problems carrying it on. Just make sure to pack it well in your carryon. You could also call your specific airline just to be sure. Good Luck.

We've carried beer on board, but not wine. My DH is into good beer. Actually, I remember going through the x-ray machine one time with beer and the attendant commented on it (it looked really cool!!), so I guess it's ok!

amny people do it. just be careful when you check it thru the xray machine so it doesn't get broken or anything.

We carried a bottle of champagne in our carryon a few years ago. After it passed through the x-ray machine, they asked us to take it out of the carryon to make sure that it hadn't been opened. I'm not sure why they did this - maybe it had something to do with it being a cork-top bottle. Just wanted to pass on the info.... enjoy your wine! :)
