Spoke to my Disney rep. who advised me that Disney still has points available at OKW and Boardwalk that they are going to put in a lottery soon so members who still want to make a small add on 50-100 pts might be able to add additional points. There are a few catches. 1) It is going to be at the current selling price $75 a point. 2) They haven't set a maximum point sale for each person ( meaning 50, 75 or 100 pts max) 3) You will only be allowed to purchase the additional points if you were picked in the lottery.

We just bought a resale at BWV so I don't have a DVC rep. How can I put my name into the lottery? Thanks.

Its only for people who are already DVC members. What I really meant is my Vacation Club Guide. She advised me it was going to be very soon and she would call me. I'm sorry I don't have an exact date.

Someone on the AOL Disney boards says the lottery will be this Wed. You must put your name in by Tues at 5pm. I don't know how accurate this is but it might be worth a call Monday.

doubletroublemom- if you've just purchased a resale I believe Disney assigns you a sales rep. You might call on Monday and see what you can find out. Good luck

It sounds like DVC has excersized their buy back options when the points went up. That makes sense for them now.

Well, we aren't talking about a lot of points here... My rep told me there are only 2300 OKW/Boardwalk points, and they do not know what use years or anything... For anyone wanting an add on, I wouldn't count on getting one... I'm already disappointed :-(

Thanks so much for posting this information. I'm on the phone now with someone who's hooking me up with a guide since mine is on vacation. I'm hoping to get my add-on soon...the timing of this lottery is perfect. I'm on wait lists for re-sales right now.

Call your Vacation Club Guide if you want to be put in the lottery. My guide was just informed this morning about the system and said she has been overwhelemed with incoming calls, so overwhelmed she has not been able to call anyone on her "list" of those who wanted to add-on.

I'm soooo bummed that b/c I'm in California I'm only eligible for untis that have been registered with the state. My guide told me there may not be ANY points that I'm even eligible for! Why must CA be so difficult?
