I'm freezing and I need help! I invested in a super warm jacket and super warm boots, but my hands get cold so quickly. Does anyone know of a really warm hat, scarf, and glove set? I figured if anyone would know, it would be one of my fellow Canadians :D

Also can anyone reccomend a good pair of waterproof winter boots? I got a pair of Uggs and they're really warm but I can't wear them in wet weather.

I like Hushpuppy boots ... they're lined and waterproof. They also come in a variety of styles (heels or no heels, ankle or calf length). I really like the calf length because help to keep my legs warm.

For a scarf ... I have a large pashima scarf which is really warm. It's also really nice because if I go to someone's house and it's a little cool, it's large enough to be a wrap.

I can't help you with the warm gloves... I'm looking for a pair myself :)

I got a pashmina from one of my students but I never even thought about using it in the cold. It clashes with my coat but I can live with that if it keeps me warm :D

I think the Hush Puppy boots are on sale at the Bay now so I'll go check them out. Thanks Bunnyfoo!

I have the warmest gloves but they are not the nicest to look at. I bought them a couple of years ago to go skiing in and my hands were actually sweating in them! They are actual ski gloves (maybe snowboarding) and they have the fingers reinforced for those tumbles down the hill!

They are YoungTec - Ripzone. And they work great to wipe the snow off teh car, sit in the arena, ski and just being in the miserable cold!

Good luck in your search and I hope it warms here soon.

I have a pair of Isotoners that I find very warm, however I use them for the day to day stuff. Hope this helps!
