We are going to Disney World in January, and we want to buy both of our children a nice Disney photo album to keep pictures from our trip in. We can't really find a nice disney photo album online or in local stores. Are there good albums available at the resort (we are staying in Wilderness Lodge)?
Thanks!

WL is a beautifule resort. the store has a couple of photo albums, but you'll get a better selection at World of Disney, or the scrapbooking store at DD. the bigger shops in all of the parks have a big selection as well. you'll have no problem, and the 2005 stuff is slowly showing up already. :D

I like the official disney world ones. I got the black flocked 2004 one and just bought the christmas one for my december trip. I'm sure there will be a new 2005 one out soon.
I like the official disney ones better than the ones at craft stores/creative memories. The 12"x12" ones I've bought were $25, which I think is a good price.

Are they really expensive?
The reason I ask is because I am going back to DW in Feb (see countdown). It will be my first wedding anniversary. :bride: Me and my hubby will be going w/ his parents, brother, and cousin (his best friend). Off topic, it's his side of the wedding party LOL! Anyway, I wanted to take ALL of our pics and make a nice photo album for my hubby's parents. So I will have to have one that will hold quite a few pictures. Do they have some like that down there?
Note: I've only been to Downtown Disney twice. Once I was on the west side (DisneyQuest) and the other time my high school chior sang at the Marketplace (back in 1996). :rockband: So I'm not familiar with the stores there.
Thanks! :thewave:

Congratulations!! I got mine for $10(it holds 100 pictures).....The bigger ones are either $20 or $25. Not sure if it's what you are looking for, but they had really cute wedding ones too, of course their more expensive. :Pinkbounc

There are a huge variety of different sizes and types of photo albums available at WDW. You will find 2 or 3 types in every resort gift shop, 4 or 5 types in the large gift shops in the parks (like the Emporium and MouseGear) and 10 or 12 types at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney. Some of them are the type that take standard removable pages, so you'll be able to get extra pages and add some to the album when you get home. Others are not expandable and hold a limited number of pics.
Be sure to set aside a whole evening to explore Downtown Disney. It's huge and full of wonderfull shops, stores, and restaurants, with every imaginable kind of Disney paraphenalia.

Thanks for all the tips. :D
Actually we are taking almost half a day to do DD. The Thurs. we are there is going to be somewhat of a "freeday." Me and my hubby are going to DD early, have lunch somewhere nice, do DisneyQuest (his fave), and then that night we are going to the luau at the PR. :Pinkbounc
