View Full Version : Suggestions on Standard Room at HRH Please

Could someone please suggest a good room or location for a standard room at the HRH. I guess what I am looking for is to get the best possible view for that category and not have a tremendous walk to the elevators - although a short walk would not bother us - just don't want to be all the way down at the end of a hall looking at a dumpster!
Thanks! :teleport:

Robvia -
Thanks for the link, but unfortunately there are no good suggestions for standard rooms. I'll hope for another reply - but once again, thanks for the link!!!

Huh? Everything is in that link.
What kind of view are you planning to book? Pool or Garden?
Room 6090 is a pool view on the 6th floor facing the park. As others have said, Room 6090 is the best in the hotel. Room 6058 is also a pool view, but closer to the elevators. The farther you are away from the elevator, the better your view of the park. If 6th floor is not available, then you move down to the 5th floor, because the room numbers are the same across the floors. The first digit of the room number tells you what floor it's on. Club is 7th floor, and their numbers may be different, but going from 6 down to say 3, is probably the same across floors.
3082 and 5078 have a view of the water taxi, therefore, they are considered garden view rooms. 3082 is on the 3rd floor, 5078 is the 5th floor. If you don't get a pool view room, than a view of the water taxi would be your next best bet. After that, your view would be looking out the front of the hotel.
If you want a good view of the park, pool, and not a long walk to the elevator, room 6058, or something close to it would be your best bet. You'll have to call the hotel and ask for your room number in advance, otherwise, they'll just assign you anywhere.

O. K., I guess I am just TOTALLY confused. (Maybe I am still thinking in Disney terms for room "definitions") I am assuming a standard room is a "standard" view as well. Am I wrong? Can I request a "pool or garden" view when booking a "standard" room?
Am I making ANY sense??
I soooo appreciate your suggestions and loved the ones on the link, but didn't think I could apply many of them because they were "garden" or "pool" views.
Please advise! (AND THANKS AGAIN!)

3 For Me,
From what I can tell. You can book a standard room (this refers to the room's size) in either "garden" (slightly cheaper) or "pool"
A "deluxe" room is somewhat larger and may have a slightly "better" garden or pool view. Everything is very well landscaped so I wouldn't worry about having the "dumpster" view!

Most of the garden rooms have nice views just try and avoid a view of the parking areas or the front of the hotel. Rooms on upper floors are always better than lower floors if you want to avoid any obstructions.

When booking a pool view room make sure you request to be on an upper floor. Floors 4-6 will guarantee that no obstructions block your view of the pool and themeparks in the distance. The palm trees can completely block any view from your room. The higher the better.

I will be sure to report when I get back, as this will by our first stay at HRH.
Ry Guy - Thanks for the additional tip! I will request a higher floor!
Love these boards!!!! :cool1:

JUST ONE MORE THING - -
Anyone know if 6090 and/or 6058 are 2 queen bed rooms? Also, what color are they - white or gold duvets?
I am really picky, huh??
THANKS GUYS!!!

Had a standard view of the boat dock area last summer and loved it.
