National just posted a January Super Sale link on their "Specials To Go" page.
Listed below are some possible prices. When you go to this link ---> http://www.nationalcar.com/servlet/DocHandler/index.html?964ae8df05c4c0ed you can see all of the airports being used. Click on the "reserve" link next to the car you want to reserve. You are taken to the reservations page and the contract ID 6600435 is already put in for you. To save time, just go to the reservations page and enter that contract ID. You can add a coupon like the Entertainment Coupon ($20 off week is 10009123), but you cannot use the priceless or other contract ID. If this rate is good for you, awesome. Do keep an eye on the rates as you may be able to get a better one as your dates get closer. Good luck!
Rates are valid from Saturday, Jan 1, 2005 through Monday, Jan 31, 2005 .
Prices listed are Daily Rate, Weekly Rate, and Weekend Daily Rate.
Orlando Intl Arpt Economy $37.99 $108.99 $20.99 Reserve!
Orlando Intl Arpt Compact $39.99 $119.99 $22.99 Reserve!

Be aware.
I just ran those same dates (Jan 14-21) for an intermediate using the Priceless Code (6600330) and the Ent $20 off coupon (10009123) and got a total price of 117.44 all included.
Better deals are out there to be found, National just wants you to think they are offering you an awesome deal with their SUPER SALE.
Play around with the codes, maybe you can get a better deal if you are looking for a larger car like an SUV or Minivan.
Have fun.

We're also going Jan. 14th - 21st, and the Priceless Code combined with the Entertainment coupon is still a better deal for us too (for a minivan).

I can usually do better than that weekend daily rate on Priceline (of course, it might not be National...more like Alamo, but same cars).

I just rebooked my weekly rental starting Jan. 2, EA intermediate with Priceless and $20 Entertainment Coupon: $117.06 all inclusive. This was a $9 reduction compared to my last reservation. I had just checked yesterday, so the Super Saving rates are being reflected in other contract codes as well.

Hey guys, I just stumbled onto this section after having seen the word National in the title. I am looking to book a rental car for the first 2 weeks of Feb and am getting really high prices. Here is my dumb question of the day-what is Priceless? Can anyone use this code? Thanks for helping....

The Priceless Code is from a travel agency and yes, anyone can use it (you can read more about it on Mousesavers.com). What are your exact dates and what size car do you need? Just for the heck of it, I ran a quote for 1/31 - 2/13, for an intermediate, using the Priceless code & the Entertainment coupon, and came up with a total of $250.30 for the two weeks - not bad at all for a two week rental!
Edited to add I actually ran the quote for 2 weeks and 1 day, since I assumed arriving at MCO in the am and leaving pm. If you could schedule it so that it's actually a two week rental, the total cost goes down to $229.82.

I didn't know they were having a super sale. I just tried the same codes I've been using (Priceless, Ent. Coupon and Ent. Code) and knocked $10 off my rental rate a few days ago. I just keep trying every few days and I've gotten my rate down to $102 for 4 days, which includes all the taxes and charges. This is for a full size car. I've tried different codes and coupons and this one always seems to be the best. Going only 4 days limits which ones I can use but I'm happy with my price. It would cost me that much in gas to drive from Ohio and I got a super rate on Continental so it's a wash plus we get to spend more time in Florida and it's less wear and tear on our own vehicle.

Do you need anything at the counter when you reserve online using the Priceless code and the Entertainment Coupon?

You must have the coupon in hand from the entertainment book or printed from the National site via entertainment.com
You can print the coupon by going to http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=694347 and scrolling down to response #5. There is a link there to the coupon.

Yea! Thanks so much! That just saved me another $20+ dollars using the priceless code and coupon, I had been using the WalMart vacations code and "thought" I was getting the best deal...until now... 8 days for an intermediate for $124. I know now that last year's trip I paid WAY TOO much!
Thanks!

I was at $290 for my trip coming up Jan 26 - Feb 2. Tried the web sale, it went down to $250. With the Entertainment/Priceless combo, I dropped to $198. This is for a Minivan through Emerald Reserve.

I just ran your dates using the priceless/ent combo and come up with a total cost of 179.74 for a week long mini van. Do you have some extra time added on to your rental, like picking up in the am and dropping off in the pm?
I just added another day to see if that was it and I came up with 189.42. I would double check your rate.

Mine shows a $15.43 recoupment fee that both of you are not showing. I'm not sure why it's showing up on mine. I'll have to keep trying.

The recoupment fee is waived for Priceless code reservations. This saves 9.8%.
