What are the advantages of joining the DC? What is the cost? How do you do it? Any info is appreciated...

I think the first year is $39.95 and $29.95 each year after that. You get 10% off at the Disney Store, Downtown Disney and a subscription to the Disney Magazine. You also get discounts on packages at WDW and Disneyland. A new feature is that you also get membership in the Entertainment America. We are staying at the Swan for 50% off in Aug by using this. I think you can get an application from http://www.disneyclub.com.

I just joined the DC to get a discount on my WDW vacation. It cost me $29.95 because my employer has a "chapter number". Some human resources depts. offer this as an employee benefit. I only saved $46 on my hotel/ticket package. I was disappointed because they say you can save up to 20%. Maybe it's because I'm staying off-peak in late november. Hope this helps.
