Posted elsewhere but thought people here might like to know too!

FYI, if you already purchased and they still have discounted flights available, they will credit you the difference for future travel. Good luck. :wizard:

Microcell, you may want to check from Missouri, because I was able to book 49 each way (115.00 per person round trip with all the taxes and fees) from Chicago to Orlando in February. Even though the sale they advertise is for the northeast, they seem to have great fares from other cities. Good luck. Lynda

Just got off the phone with SW as I had booked my airfare and changed last week as the rates went down,I could not get the 49 going(1/23-2/02) and when I looked this morning it was there but wouldn't let me change it..SW then cancelled my ressie and I rebooked with my old confo #..saved 80 dollars!! so it was 115 each round trip..got National rental emerald alise for 11 days intermediate for 207 total trying to get that down too..having no luck with that as last year at the same time it was much cheaper for the same dates..not bad but wish I could get it down..thanks for the heads up!!Marianne

I just saved $120.00 on my round trip tickets in Feb. thanks to you. It is simple to re-book online. They give you credit towards the next flight you book. So I basically have a free flight back to Florida!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! ::MinnieMo

I am so mad that I booked Song rather than SWA. I could have saved $300 for our family of 5. When I booked a few months ago, they were the same price but song is up in price & SW dropped. Bummer!!!

Curious to know if Song will issue credit like SWA does if the price drops - anyone know? I really like SWA for their flexibility. :D

They did when the DW and I booked our flights last summer for September. We booked with Song and two days later, fares dropped alot. We quickly called them and were issued vouchers.
For $49.00, SW is almost daring us to go...GRRRR.

I bit. I can't go and stay at the local lake (and who would want to in the einter LOL!) for that price. Got a great air price, an AP rate at Pop...and I'm ready to go.

Does anyone know when there might be discounts released for March?

I actually got a rate of $29 one-way while flying in Feb. I originally paid $79 and was credited for the difference. DH and I will both be flying round-trip non-stop flights for a total of $150!! It was the steal of the century! :cheer2:

Wow! That's even better than when they were having their 30th anniversary sale a few years ago! Good for you. Where are you flying out of?

Flying out of Buffalo 02/10!! What I especially love is that the flights are non-stop. We're in Florida in 2 1/4 hours. It couldn't get any better than that. At work they posted a cartoon with a man sitting on a wing of an airplane while it's in the air and they wrote underneath that at the rate I got that's how I'm flying to Florida. Fine with me - I'm going - their not!! :cool1:

Hmmm- we always fly out of Buffalo too. We have a pretty decent credit saved w/ Southwest we have to use by August too. Going to check them prices....
