What do you think the chances are of getting a 1BR any where for February 21 - 25 which is Presidents and school vacation week? How busy is that week in the parks? We have a SLIGHT chance of heading down that week if we could book it. Thanks is advance!

There's a chance for something as long as you aren't looking for a specific resort. Why don't you call MS and see how it looks? They may be able to let you know if it looks good for you or not.

About a month ago, we snagged a studio at BWV for 2/22-25 (three nights, Tues-Fri) for some friends renting our points. It was a preferred pool/garden unit, which was fine, and we waitlisted for BW view and Std view as well as BCVs. Just this afternoon, BCVs came thru! They have DDs 13 and 10 who like pool play and were particularly interested in SAB, so BCV switch was a natural.

Like my pal and Maine neighbor HBC says, call MS and give it a try. I bet you could find something. Maybe not on the Monday, Presidents' Day, but certainly for Tuesday and beyond.

We did the President's Week Thing for years down there. It is very busy at the parks.I would say it is about the 3rd or 4th busiest week down there. The weather is great however and makes for great swimming as a rule. Good luck getting a room!! That is the same week as the Daytona 500, it can be really crowded.
