If you're planning to do Epcot with kids, consider taking the time to stop at the kidcot places at the various countries. My kids loved making the souvenir mask and then having each country stamp their souvenir and decorate it with their own special touch (especially Italy!) It was a fantastic way to let them explore the countries and have a souvenir to show their friends when they got back home.

Do you think our almost 4 yr old twins (who love arts & crafts stuff) would be able to do the masks? Or is it geared more for older, grade schoolers? Are the kidcot stations open the whole time that WS is open or are there set times to do the masks?
Thanks.

I know your twins would love to do the masks. I saw mostly younger children. There was a wide range of ages, but the staff were extremely nice to any child who wanted to participate. My dd5, 8, & 11 colored their masks at Norway (the sweetest ladies there! Torel & Anna), but Italy looked like it was a lot of fun, too. All the countries' kid stations opened at 1:00 and you can pick & color a mask at any one of them - then take it around to get the other countries' stamp & creative addition to the mask. The kids got their last stamp at Mexico (we made a loop) and it was about 6:30, but I don't know beyond that what time they close. There was no mention on the Epcot guide - it just said the stations "open at 1:00". The kids cherish their mask souvenirs. :)

I've heard that it can take quite a bit of time to decorate your mask at each station. Does anyone know how long about at each station?

My children 2 and 10 loved it!!
The time it takes varies, it can take you 5 minutes or half an hour, its up to you and your child. Every country has something to add to it, a ribbon, a paper butterfly..... And they all ofer crayons or markers also. My children loved it so much we made 2 on our last trip in Jan.!!
I had no idea what they were when we first got there, I saw children walking around with them, I finally found out in our third counrty :p
I highly recommend them!

Our DD did one last yra at 2 1/2 and still plays with it. The time really depends on your kid. They could spend 5 min or "forever" if you let them
When the 100 year celebration starts will they still be offering the masks? I thought I'd read that this was changing? Does anyone know? Also thought I'd read the EPCOT Passports were being discontinued? I hope not!!!!

Could children make masks during the food & wine festival ?
We were planning to head over to EPCOT around 4pm on two days
(Fri & Sat) for the food (& wine) goodies.
I would love my kids to visit each county too.
Does anyone know if the crafts for kids at each country
stay open till 7:30 PM ? (in the fall)
THANKS !!
