Just booked Hartford to MCO for $75 round trip! Non stop flights. We will be spending Christmas in WDW. I had my choice of resorts with an AP discount. I decided on 3 nights AKL concierge and 4 nights GF garden view. :pinkbounc

RLMS - What dates are you traveling? I originally wanted to go to Disney for Christmas, but changed my mind because I thought I would get killed in airfare at this time of year. We're going the end of Aug. instead on SWA for $93 RT nonstop out of Hartford.

Anne60 -
You might want to call SWA and see if they can book you at the lower fare of $75. My six tickets dropped from $156.50 each nonstop RT from Hartford to MCO (booked in April) down to $93.00 for the same exact dates and flights. I called SWA and asked for a credit and just got $381.00 credit to my credit card, statement came in on Thursday right there in black and white! That's going to pay for my two DD park passes! Call and see, you won't know unless you ask, all they can say is no! Good luck.

We are flying down 12/20 and returning 12/27.
Thank you for this post! I just booked travel in December and got the $75.00 rate. I wanted to warn anyone interested that the website says that the rates are only good through today. I have no experence with Southwest so I don't know if they will extend the sale or not. I didn't want to take any chances so I booked today!

Anne60,
my dad had flights actually from Orlando to Hartford for Oct and he paid 133.00 a piece for them. What they did was they honored the internet special, I had to go in and cancel his old reservation (after making sure seats were still available for his time frame) (he actually got the same flight) and then you go to pay for new ones and they use the credit from old ones. If you call them, they will tell you exactly what to do online, my dad ended up paying 300 for 4 tickets as opposed to 530. Definately worth a call, you can use the credit on your next air purchase. Plus on internet, they give you double rewards.

Chris, I must be doing something wrong then. I'm not flying on those blackout dates (flying down 11/18 & returning 11/23) - but I can't get those cheap fares! It says "unavailable".

they must be sold out for your dates if it shows up as "unavailable"...eg internet fare is unvailable

We didn't know about the $75.00 swa tix, but we got 80.00 rt out of Hartford on USAir. They seemed to have quite a few dates available, however we're going the end of Aug and didn't need to look past that.

I just checked the 11/18-11/23 dates on their website... there is very little availability, even at regular price... either the internet fare was sold out, or it just wasn't offered for those dates... I checked several dates, but couldn't get close to your own dates... That is a bummer!!!

Yea, I think around $167 is the best I'm gonna do.....which really still isn't so bad....
Thanks again. :)
