It looks like they made a mistake on the latest DC coupon for National. it says to use contract ID #********, but this is actually the coupon code. There is no contract code.

Do you think if I enter the correct info on the website it will be a problem when I go to rent the car? I'd prefer to use this coupon, because it doesn't expire until 12/2001. The others expire sept 30, and our rental is sept-oct. Anyone think I should worry?

I'm planning to email DC to let them know. I will also tell them that it's misleading to talk about a minivan rental on the coupon when it isn't valid for one!

They had the same mistake on the Disney Club website for months, at least Jan-Apr'01. They finally changed some of the wording and coupon/contract ID on the website when the offer was updated, at the same time they eliminated validity for mini-van rentals (it used to be valid for mv rental). I think someone just copied the (old) website wording onto the (new) coupon. As with the website printouts, you shouldn't have any problem using it.:)

Gillian-I just used that coupon yesterday. I gave both the coupon #******** and contract ID#******* and they gave me the 1 weekend day free rate. I do know I'll need to show them the coupon I printed off the DC website. I did go to the Nationalcar.com website and found a better rate there, though, so I did reserve it online. Play around using both these codes in the contract ID spot as well as coupon# spot. I think you'll be surprised!
