Just got back

Just got back from 8 nights at BWV, room 5001 (1 bedroom). Great view, but it sure is a loooonnng walk to the elevators.

The buses worked great for us, never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus.

Only problem is, now it is over.:(

hi: i know what you mean about that long walk. we've had units second from the last a couple times. so-when's the next trip planned?

Nothing solid yet as far as the next trip. Got to take a look at the old calendar.

How bad is the renovations that are going on?
Is the lobby being done or just teh outside?
We're going in two weeks... Just curious.

I was also wondering about the construction and its effects on the atmosphere. We are leaving in 18 days and bringing my sister for her first trip to BW. I am hoping the construction is not too overwhelming. ALso, do you know if the Main St. Ice Cream Parlor is open? Thanks.

The Boardwalk construction was not too bad when we were there, nothing at all in the lobby at that time, mostly on the outside on the parking lot side. They were also doing some hallway painting around the rooms. Didn't spoil the trip at all.

The Main Street Ice Cream Shoppe was not open, nor was the Main Street Bakery. Bummer!
