I am planning my first trip to WDW from May 30 -June 6. I am not a member of AAA but am considering joining if the discounts are worthwhile. The cost of joining is around $58 from what I have read on the internet. Does anyone know what kind of discounts they give on rooms and passes during this time period? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Some extra info...if you plan on visiting US/IOA you can save 10% (I think) on meals and merchandise. (I'm buying my 3 day escape tickets from them - $99.)
I use my DC card at WDW so sorry I can't help there.

Not sure of all of the discounts but I was able to pick up our 4 day park hopper passes at last year's prices. A savings of $21 for each adult and I think about a $13 savings for each child.
Hope that helps.

Your AAA will give you the exact same resort discounts as the DC. Also, same discount a when purchasing park passes.

Two weeks ago I picked up a 5-day adult park hopper pass at AAA for $207.

If I recall correctly, your DC membership gives you the first year in AAA for free.

I don't believe that you get free AAA membership with DC membership, I just renewed my and my husbands membership for standard AAA membership and it's $65 a year, if the DC card gives you that for free then that in itself would make it worth it purchasing a DC membership, but I can not believe that it possible.

You are correct, it is not free, it is at a 10% discount with no enrollment fee.
I have pasted what I just read. Sorry for the error, but, still, not a bad deal.

I just joined AAA through one of their specials offered to new members.
Joining fee waived($14.00)
$5.00 off for putting it on a VISA or MC
total of $40.00 for this year for one person as a member, which is often all you need. They cover the person now not the car so you only have to be present to get help for a certain vehicle.
They sent the offer in the mail, but I bet you could inquire.
