We want to go to Boma on our AK day. We are trying to decide if we should go there for breakfast or for dinner. Timing-wise, I think breakfast would work out better for us that day, but I know everybody seems to rave about their dinner. Would we be missing something if we only were able to eat breakfast there? We have 2 kids ds9 and dd5.

Ive never had dinner at Boma so I cant say if one is better than the other, but I had a very good breakfast there yesterday. There was a great variety and everything was delicious.

I've only had dinner there, but I have heard people rave about the breakfast at Boma- especially the juice they serve called "West African Frunch (a combination of lemonade, pineapple juice, guava juice, orange juice, and papaya juice)." from allearsnet.com. Some other yummy and unique things I saw on their menu: made to order omelets, brioche, pap, bobotie, kenyan coffee. I would love to eat there, i've just never been able to fit it into my schedule.

My families two favorite breakfast spots in WDW are Boma at AKL and Fresh at the Dolphin. At Boma, there is plenty of standard breakfast fare (cereals, pastries, bacon/sausage and the like), for the nonadventurous eaters, but they have some special offerings that sets them apart from most other breakfasts at WDW. The Frunch juice is wonderful...YUM! Also I love their potatoes with afritude (spicy potatoes), and their vegetable breakfast pizza. Some of their pastries are more unique, such as mango muffins, and they have a great fresh fruit display that often has fresh mango and papaya along with the usual fruits. They have carved ham and pork loin, and an omelette station where they are made fresh to your specifications.

We have had dinner at Boma twice, I think. It was good, but this past week DH & I had the breakfast buffet for the first time. We give it two thumbs up! We enjoyed the breakfast more than the dinner!

We LOVE dinner but the breakfast is now our favorite. Get a pressed pot of Kenyan coffee and frunch. It is very peaceful and quiet and the food is fabulous. We wouldn't miss it.

they are both excellent. I think the dinner is a bit better, but both are worth trying

so I think if breakfast fits in better to the schedule go for it!

i thought the choc chip and blueberry muffins were some of the best ever. i hated to fill up on muffins with all the other goods stuff, but I could not help it! so i hesitate going back and spending 16$ to eat muffins! LOL...

We didn't think there was anything special at all about the breakfast. Admittedly, maybe we were expecting too much, after reading all the rave reviews. DS & I are very adventurous eaters, and we didn't feel like our palate was challenged in the least. Our server was very inattentive, which didn't help. Oh, I don't drink coffee, so yet another thing that is supposed to make this breakfast special, which I skipped. Now that I think about it, I'm probably not the best judge of this restaurant. We may try it again sometime, but I don't think we'd make a special trip to AKL for it.

I really enjoyed the Breakfast at Boma's! YUM! They have a wonderful sausage casserole that I'm still craving. The food was hot, fresh and yummy!
Not to mention the juice mixture they bring was delicious. This was one of my favorite breakfasts!!!!

We had breakfast there this morning ! I didn't like the frunch, but overall LOVED the buffet. In addition to the usual bufffet (and I'm a sucker for anyone who serves pancakes, waffles AND french toast at the same time), there was a delicious pork loin carved to order, a bobotie, a sausage casserole, omlets, fantastic fruit and a mind-blowing array of muffins.

It was one of those upsetting times that I was full way before I was finished.
