How's the weather in early February?

I am planning a surprise trip for my husbands 40th B-day and will be there on 02/04/05....I have been there in spring,summer and fall but never winter time and I was wondering what on earth should I pack to wear? Also if there is any suggestions on how to surprise my husband I would appreciate them. I have already scheduled vacation days for him at work without him knowing and was planning on having everything ready and letting him know the morning of...but I'm not really sure the best way to spring it on him. That is if my 10yr old and I can keep a secret that long.

Plan on packing jeans, sweatshirts, long pants, sweaters, etc. Early February can be chilly, espcially at night. Both times we visited in February we did get a few warm days in there (high 70's.) But even that was brrr, especially the boat transportation. It was a wonderful time to visit though, virtually no waits for teh rides.

What a nice surprise for your husband. I think you should tell him the night before so he has time to process and take care of any last minute items.
Relax him first. Feed him well, let him put his feet up, massage, remote in hand, that type of thing. Then, with much enthusiasm say "Honey, I've got some great news ..." Good luck! But not that you need luck surprising someone with a trip to DW. :O)

I was there for a week this past Feb. We had 2 days in the 80's, 1 day in the 50's and the rest in the low 70's.

We are going to be there also - 1st week of Feb.. till the 5th.
I am ready for anything - better then ice/for 2 days / slick roads/ flickering lights, snow in 24hours to 15 inches.. cold cold winds....
I am counting for the warm sun, even if 60.... green grass and palm trees.....
