It's Mount Everest a roller coaster

That's going in Animal Kingdom..

Maybe it's the East Coast Matterhorn :-D

Or the "Brother Bear" version of Grizzly River Run for Canada :badpc:

Everest is in DAK not WS. I agree with gcurling. We saw the fences up between Germany and Outpost right after Thanksgiving and a week later the empy space was unveiled.

I saw those fences at the World Showcases as well. I agree that it is most likely just the removal of temop structures put up for the Food & Wine fest.

On the subject of Everest, that thing is gonna be huge. I took several photos which I will try to post here in a few days.

On another site a CM from WDW said it was just taking down temp things from Food and Wine Festival. Nothing new being built according to them. :confused3

Just got back this evening, there is no construction currently going on at WS. All of those fences were from the Food and Wine event, and they are all down now, and there is nothing new in their place. Unless you consider sod something new. :teleport:

Anyone know what the Millenium building between Canada and UK is being used for now? They have a nice gate there...special events or something?

Yep, special events, corporate shindigs, etc. The best part of that new area were the new HUGE restrooms they put in along the side of the building. Something like 25 stalls, Doesn't take much to get me excited, does it? :hyper:

We saw a fairly large corporate party going on in July when we were there. they really have a front-row seat for the lagoon and Illuminations! I do like the fact that there must be dozens of corporate events going on at any one time but you don't notice them at all. I don't want to be reminded of work in ANY way when I'm at WDW.

Disney had a family New Year's Eve buffet (really nice) with a big band at the former Millenium Village last week.
