Hi there,
Can anyone advise me on the Nurse's Discount please?
We've already got everything in place for this years' vacation but I was wondering whether I might be eligible for this discount at some other time :D
Basically I'm a qualified Registered Nurse from the UK. I still have my nursing registration up to date although I'm not presently in paid employment - I'm the registered carer for my DH who has a brain tumour.
Is this discount availabel to nurses who didn't train in the US? I qualified in 1983 so believe that my qualification would allow me to practise in the US.
Thanks for your help.
Alison

If you have some kind of nursing license with your name on it, that should be all you need. Here in the US, licensing (sp?) is done by each individual state, so I'm sure everybody's license looks a little different anyway. I am an RN in Illinois. I haven't had any luck finding nurse discounts, but I know the Swan and Dolphin offer them from time to time.

Thank you.
It's certainly something I'll keep an eye open for in the future.
