I was one of the lucky ones who got the Mickey Carpet bag at a great price thanks to you guys!! I was wondering though if anyone has used it on their vacation flying yet. If so....did you check it? Or use it as a carryon? It strikes me as too big for a carryon yet not quite sturdy enough that I feel real comfortable checking it. Any input?
Thanks!

Amanda -
I have the bag and have done both already. It was fine in both cases. It does seem a little on the large side so if you are on a full flight or a small plane, they might gate check you.
Enjoy

I packed it in my suitcase, knowing that I was going to bring home more than I brought down in October. I used my carry on as checked luggage and the carpet bag as my carry on. I love it.

Just got back and took it as a carry-on. It was pretty full on the way home and had no problem at all.

Also used my carpet bag on as carry-on,when too much disney spending meant we had too many suitcases! :earseek:

A while ago, disneystore.com had a Mickey carpet bag for $9.99. Mousesavers alerted many of us, and of course we bought them all!!! I only think they were available for about a day at that price. They look pretty good, but the quality is so-so. You couldn't use it to travel frequently I don't think.......

Great!! I had pretty much decided to pack it to bring back full with our purchases if necessary. There's nothing like having to buy a duffel bag/suitcase to come home because what you brought is too full - yes I'm guilty of having to do that. But it is very reassuring knowing it will work.
Thanks!

Hi! We also used them as a carry on. My mother and I both had them. Even when it was full it fit in that box by the gate that determines if it is small enough to be a carry on. I was truly VERY surprised, but alas, it slid right in. Those things look decieving I guess. Have a wonderful time!
