Hey all....

I am looking at purchasing some Firm videos, but there are SO many of them to choose from!! Which ones do you recommend for a beginner?? I especially want to work on my hips/thighs, but the rest of me could use some help too! There is a set at Target with three tapes and the step, but again...not sure if this is the way to go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Sammy
If the tapes that you are talking about are The Firm's Body Sculpting System #1, that is a great series to start with. I have been FIRMing since January and I started with BSS1 and bought BSS2 (with the sculpting stick) this summer. I love both of them. Hope that helps. :D

Hmmm...this is the description from the site:

<i>Take a step toward better health with The Firm Body Sculpting System. This complete, at-home system includes 3 Firm workout videos, the Fanny Lifter step system, The Firm instructors' Secrets to Success guide and a 30-Day Rotation Calendar. Videos include Cardio Sculpt, a 45-minute fat-burning workout that combines cardiovascular and body-shaping exercises; Body Sculpt, a 45-minute upper-and-lower-body workout to increase strength and sculpt beautiful and shapely muscles; and Ab Sculpt, 25 minutes of exercises to strengthen, tone and stretch the core abdominal and back muscles....."</i>, etc. etc. Is this the one you are talking about? It includes the step as well...

If this is a good "starter", I'm going to run out tonight and pick it up so I can start first thing in the morning!

Thanks!
Sammy

Hi Sammy,

Like Tracy mentioned, BSS1 is a great system to start Firming. That is the system that you have described and it will give you a great introduction to the Firm and it's instructors. I have BSS1 and BSS3. There is definitely a difference between the two and system 3 is tougher in my humble opinion.

Be warned, once you start, you might find yourself a Firm junkie. I used to work out with the tapes 3 times a week and now I'm up to 7 days and sometimes twice a day. It's a great work out system and I love the results!
