I'm so excited. I just made my first DVC ressie for Halloween of next year (oh yeah...and F&WF).

Our families do not know that we bought points, yet...yikes. We are hoping to soften the blow by presenting them a Christmas present of 5 magical nights on us.

Very few people to share the excitment with at work so I knew you guys would understand.

I love making reservations, it's a great feeling to know that you've got everything lined up! Congratulations, and have fun at MNSSHP, we had a great time!

Ah, that first DVC reservation! I remember it well!

After dealing with CRO for a few years, I couldn't believe how nice and helpful the MS people were, and how easy it was to book a reservation at DVC.

Congratulations on your new membership and now comes the hard part....waiting 11 months! ::yes::

How excited you must be.........I was... with my 1st time home in May this year!!

Congrats..........:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Its such a wonderful present for your family too !!

I have, in the past, given mom and DH a X-mas present of 10 days @ the GF ( I was lucky to get a good bonus that year).

I can't explain how surprised and excited they were...me too!

The trip was just..."Magical". :goodvibes :goodvibes

They are both passed now....but...my happy memory of that visit....is still alive

You forgot to mention the free phone call part, too. That alone is worth the price of points. If you want an eye-opener, check these boards for many people who have relatives or friends who don't understand the allure of Disney. They wonder why anyone goes more than once a lifetime. Why would anyone buy a timeshare? The list goes on. It's fun reading the stories.

I know exactly how you feel! May heart was pounding and my voice was shaking. I could almost see the MS smiling as though she knew what I was going through. And that made it so easy.

Our 18 yr dd decided not to go with us on our first trip, so we are taking my husbands ds. I bet she comes back with some grand reports.

I want to make another reservation just because I can and because it was so much fun. How nuts is that?
