Not at all impressed with the quality of Universal's Duelling Dragons T-shirts, we bought 3 last month, one each for me, DH & DD. DD's is the only one that's been washed as DH and I haven't even worn ours, yet both DD's and mine are cracking across the front over the transfer.
I've just phoned IOA's guest services and basically if I ship them back to them with the receipt, then they'll replace them. Even if I had the receipt which I strongly doubt, and do send them for replacement, then I'm still out of pocket for shipping, (I'm in the UK btw so shipping would be costly)
So $19 a shirt, and mine's unworn and pretty much unwearable, DD's has been worn and washed and looks horrendous.
Not at all impressed with Universal after this, beware before parting with your cash on their merchandise.
Anyone got an email address I can use to complain?

I had the same problem. I bought my Dragons shirt 3 years ago and has cracked as well.
However, I bought a $60 dragon's skull at the same time and it still looks brand new.
Could it possibly just be Dragon's shirts? I bought a t-shirt US 2 years ago and it still looks great.

I don't have a DD t-shirt but I do have close to 20 other shirts form Universal and haven't had any problem with them. They all look great even after repeated washings and dryed in the dryer.
Here is the Universal Mail Order Department

My mummy shirt is cracking but it was a free shirt given to employees and I have wore atleast 20 times. I have never had this happen to me with T-shirts I have bought, the only time I ever had a t-shirt crack was one I got from Disney.

I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your dragon shirt. Mind me asking which dragon shirt it was. I have the red/blue shirt with the dragon face that's part fire dragon and part ice dragon which was purchased about 3 years ago. It's still in pretty good condition. Having read your post, I looked closely at my shirt, and althought it does have minor cracks, they aren't apparent without a close inspection.

My DH bought that shirt and that one is fine, mine and DD's are the navy blue ones with a roundish transfer area on the front where the cracking has happened.

That's the only one I know of. It is the one on the card I got from merchandising. I also have a phone number for merchandising.

Thanks Phantom, just tried that email again but it's been returned again - I'll keep hunting for another email address. I've tried speaking to them on the phone and got nowhere!

T-shirt are hit or miss. I have paid extra for what I thought would be a better quality shirt, only to have it wear out after a couple of wears/washes. Then sometimes I buy a shirt for a few bucks and it is one of the most comfortable shirt I own for years.
I can't picture the DD shirts, but I would be leary about buying anything with a heavy decal on it.

DS10 got a shirt back in June that's black with a design with both dragons and when you turn it inside out to wash, the transfer sticks to itself when the fabric folds. It hasn't cracked yet but it's not like any shirt I've ever seen. I have to peel it apart to fold it. Weird.
