Okay, here's a different CG question. My friend and I are taking a girls only trip 12/4 - 12/11 (leaving hubbies and kids at home). We are eating at CG on 12/10 at 7:30 p.m. Now that I hear they don't turn down the lights and play music for Wishes (MVMCP night anyway) I am seriously thinking about having us sit at the "counter" to watch the chefs in the kitchen. Window seat would be nice, but we are not looking for romance, of course, and I thought this might be fun. What do you all think? Has anyone ever done that and is the seating comfortable? We are both very outgoing and plan on drinking wine heavily, so it sounded interesting and different. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I would go with the counter for dinner and enjoy their show. If you want to see the fireworks you'll have a better view if you step out onto the terrace anyway. The odds of getting a window table are not the best, we've gone outside every time except once to see the show.

Thanks for the info. I thought for two ladies trying to have fun, this sounded cool. Thanks. :drinking1

We ate at CG on Nov 11th and I thought we had a bad table at first because it was way in back with no window in sight but after we sat down we realized it was right next to the kitchen. I am addicted to cooking shows and this was so much better. The Chef de Cuisine is really friendly and accesible. Fireworks? What Fireworks? ;) The food is magnificent too.
