I just checked our flight status - I do it every so often and I've never seen even the slightest change - but now I cant find my return flight out of MCO. I put the flight number in and I get a flight leaving Fort Meyers! what's going on???? (Could we end up stuck in Fla.??? oh the hardship.....................);)

could it be your flight starts in ft myers....then continues on through orlando

although they did have information on NBC news tonight that says the airlines have cut back on some flights due to lost "business" travel

yes a call to the "reservations" center of the airline you are flying on would be in order for sure.....

They probably changed your flight #, this happened to me on my last trip (USAirways). The flight # was different, but the time was only a couple minutes different. They will probably be calling you, but you can call them if you want a quick answer. You can also check the airlines website for timetables, that will tell you if there is another flight # leaving around the same time. If it's USAirways from Orlando to Charlotte, they have lots of flights daily, so don't worry.

Hi curly, was the airline continental? because i had a similar thing happen to me just a few weeks ago with them.

It seems that they changed a lot of the flight numbers to from MCO. I think it is becasue they just finished the last scheduled flight change that they do for every quarter.I think they added a few flight so to make the numbers sequential they changed them all. When i called Continental though all my flight ressies were still there

Good luck.

Oh PS on the upside of all those changes my flight got switched from a 737-800 to a 757! whoo hoo! Must be a busier time of year for flying than they expected.

Why not simply call your carrier and inquire, rather than worrying about it?

I would call as both our flight to MCO and back were cancelled and just disappeared on Delta's website....We called and they put us on the new flights of our choice with no fee of course as we did not change flights they changed on us..I would not wait, check as they never did call me, I have no idea how long they would have waited as we called as soon as we found it...
