I wonder if the CMs that did not vote FOR the new contract will take it out on the guests since threatening Disney with a strike did not accomplish much? And, I do not mean this as anything againest CMs, but it seems that their frustrations need to be vented somewhere.

I hope that they don't...I was there in August just between hurricanes and lets just say that the customer service was not what it normally is. However......I am not complaining because the CMs worked under difficult conditions then.

Will be traveling to WDW next week and am looking forward to a good time.

I definitely feel that the CMs deserve better pay, and as a Disney shareholder, I wish that we could vote it in.

disney-pins -- I am not a CM, although I can imagine how difficult it was to help guests with a smile when they were probably worried if they would have a roof or windows still intact at their own living quarters.
I know how hard it was for everyone to try to work a normal schedule AND stand in long lines for plywood and major neccessities actually required for survival. (And wondering if there would be anything left after standing in line for hours.)
Nothing against you or any other guest. Just a thought that the person trying to be as nice as possible was literally concerned over survival of the basic needs of them and their family.
