Good Morning!!

Besides going to my mother's for Thanksgiving, I am thinking about having a family dinner for the 4 of us and making a turkey.

What do you stuff your turkey with? Looking for ideas ....

Also does anyone stuff the bird with lemons or herbs?

Thanks!!

Have a magical Disney Day!!

We use Alton Brown's turkey recipe. He stuffs it with 1 apple, 1/2 onion, rosemary and sage leaves. There is also a brine that is veggie broth and a bunch of spices. It is very good stuff!

I agree - Alton's turkey is awesome! I made it two years ago when I hosted Thanksgiving at my house for the first time, and it turned out great, really moist and flavorful. We had cornbread stuffing on the side, of course, but the turkey itself was only stuffed with "aromatics".

Here's a link to the recipe for Good Eats Roast Turkey (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_8389,00.html). Have a great Turkey Day! :teeth:

On Thanksgiving, I don't stuff my turkey.

My turkey stuffs me.
