Hello everyone.:wave2:

First time I have posted on this board but I would be grateful for any recipes you have for spicy meatballs.

We couldn't go to WDW this year as I had a hip replacement back in May and couldn't fly long haul for at least 3 months, by which time my son was back in school.:(

As a result, I am pining away for spaghetti and mealballs! They just aren't as good over here in England so I thought I would make my own. If you have a good recipe for spicy meatballs I would love to hear it. Uno's at Crossroads serve my favourite meatballs so if anyone can come close to a recipe like those, I would be in seventh heaven!

Also, my son loves the dipping sauce you get in Perkins and other restaurants with mozarella sticks. I think it is marinara sauce. Any recipes for that would also be gratefully received!

Thank you so much and I look forward to a nice meal this weekend!

I take a half pound of ground beef and saute it in my big pot.....add garlic powder and oregano and italian seasonings.....then I add two large cans of tomato sauce and or tomato crushed in a can.........add one large can of tomato paste.....mix thorougly.....when that is good and mixed......while this is simmering slowly........put a bowl of a pound and a half of ground beef and an egg....mix good.....add garlic and seasonings that you like.....I like an italian breadcrumb mixture to it......and mix it good.......form these into small balls and drop in your sauce....all around the whole pot and in the middle and just keep making them and dropping them in......about a half hour later.....very gently mix the sauce and meatballs together.....and simmer all day....these are sooooo good and every one loves them.......if we have enough left over I make meatball sandwiches which are in a sub roll....
good luck and keep tasting it while it is cooking to test how much seasoning you want to add.....

Thank you so much Pumba! I am very grateful.

Now I just hope someone knows how to make that marinara sauce!
