We do a 10 day trip in October and a few long weekends (fly in on Friday, leave on Monday). Sometimes we'll fly in late on Thurs. night so we have all day Friday and then fly out late on Monday so we have most of that day.
We seem to find better airfares returning on Monday.

We usually go twice a year. We have never gone for longer than 4 nights. It is so easy for us to fly down for a "long weekend" that we usually reserve longer trips for places other than WDW. That being said, I would like to go for at least a week some time.

We try to do at least 2-3 trips around 4-6 nghts and 1 trip in the 10-14 night range. We always fly so I keep a pretty close eye on airfare.

Coming from San Diego ... we usually take two trips each year to WDW, 7 nights each. The January visit is for business and staying onsite was our primary reason for buying DVC. The fun trip is anytime between Oct-Dec staying offsite with multiple condos for friends and family.
We do take lots of "long weekends" using our other points-based timeshare throughout the western states. We'll fly if there is an airfare special ... but often drive if the destination is CA, AZ, OR or NV.

We go twice a yr (except this yr and next, so we can take my parents on DCL) and always stay 7 nights at DVC. We do sometimes fly in late Fri night and stay elsewhere, moving to DVC Sat morning.
When we first visited WDW, we stayed on International Drive on a 5-night package. We did that a couple of times and it was great fun.
A few years later, CBR was built and we started visiting 7 nights. Staying on property spoiled us.
Later we felt we really needed to stay 10 nights in order for it to be a real vacation.
For the past few years we have been staying at least two weeks each time and visiting 2-3 times a year. Last year we were fortunate enough to spend 39 nights on property.
In February 2005 we're spending 5 nights at Pop Century before a 7-night Eastern Magic cruise with our daughter and her family. We'll then be at OKW for two weeks after the cruise.

My shortest DVC stay has been 4 nights, and that was only once. Usually I stay for 5-7 nights, sometimes tacking on a couple of cash nights at another Disney hotel.
Upcoming trips: Feb. for 7 nights at BCV, then 2 at POFQ
Mar./Apr. for 8 nights at BWV, plus 1 before at CBR and 1 after at POR

We're so varied, any average wouldn't mean much. We like to go during Flower and Garden show, for a Halloween party and in December. We did a 3 day cruise this year and will do the members cruise next year. Someday we'd love to take a 10 day DVC vacation including VB. So far, the longest trips planned are 5 nights, and some include weekends. Next year, our 2, 5 night trips will be with friends in their own studios/inn rooms. We are always on the lookout for good air fares to Florida!

We did 5 nights (Weds-Mon) over Veterans' Day, 3 nights VB then 2 nights VWL in January (part of a 9 day trip), 9 nights in April (AKL & BWV) and finally 4 more nights over Columbus Day. Definately making full use of those APs we got for the SSR add-on!::yes:: Of course we had to buy them for the kids, but 20 park days is definately efficient use. Of course we'll get the discount next year, and won't that be nice.

We drive and although we were at Disney in August, between the storms, we will be heading back in January for 26 days, the longest we have ever stayed.:)

We usually stay 6 to 7 nights per trip. There have been a few 3 night trips though. Longest was 13 nights (twice) Over a one year period we usually fit in 20 - 22 days at WDW.

This will be our second trip as DVCers, but we`re starting to see a pattern of:" once a year", for 2 weeks :wave2:
Now, with the new AP perk, we`ll most likely try to get our ressies a couple of weeks earlier, than the previous year.

I am at the BWV right now and this trip is for 10 nights. We usually do 7 nights and 2 at the HRH at Universal but with the chance to get a Grand Villa for part of the time and with MVMCP on 12/28 we decided to do it all right here at the BWV's this time.

We have to fly so we usually go down for 5 nights. We're trying 4 nights in Feb. and I'm sure it will be great. How can it not be? Just to be back home will be wonderful.

Here is our 2005 plans:
1. BWV for 6 nights in a 1 BR,and friends for 5 nights BWV in a studio
2. HHI for DW and family only, for 5 nights, 2 nights cash in a 1 BR..
So... A total of 13 nights, and 2 for cash.. With points left over....!!

We usually go for a week every year. This year we only went four nights and we'll never do that again. We're now thinking our next trip down will be more like 9-10 nights! :cool1:

The past two years we went for 8 days/7 nights each time. In 2004 we only took one 7 night trip b/c we had a baby born in August. For 2005 we are planning on a Feb. 7 night trip and are plans are still up in the air for next fall since our oldest will be starting kindergarten.

We go about once or twice a year. One visit is for 10 days and the other is for about 5 or 6 days. But no matter how long, it is never enough!

It varies, but it is usually 5 nights. This upcoming trip we are staying 4 nights because of the difference in airfare on those particular days.

We get to go once a year. Our first trip home will be in October. This trip will be for a week. Having the time off from work is the major problem.

We have been going to WDW three times per year: 8 nights in January (4 at BWV and 4 at VB), 6 nights at BWV for spring break in March, 10 nights in June (6 at BWV and 4 at VB), so a total of 24 nights. We usually pay cash for the Friday and Saturday nights at VB and use points for everything else.
During 2005, we will only be going to Florida once: 6 nights in January (2 nights at BWI for a conference followed by 4 nights at VB on points). My employer will cover the BWI stay, so we're gonna "rough it" rather than stay at BWV. Our DD is getting married in July, so we're saving $$ by reducing our vacation travel for a while. We always fly and rent a car when we go to FL and we would be due to renew our APs during our normal January visit, so lodging is only one part of the cost of travel. DD and SIL-to-be will have 6 nights of honeymoon stay at BWV using some of our points (a wedding gift from us) and we'll bank the rest to 2006 use year. Likely we'll resume our usual pattern at that time, including purchasing new APs (and taking advantage of the new discount--I may even purchase the vouchers late in 2005 to be sure the discount doesn't go away before I have a chance to use it).

A few years ago we started off spending 5 nights in Nov. every year, but that wasn't long enough so then we started adding a second trip going in June for 4 nights. Then we bought DVC......... we are leaving tomorrow for a quick 2 night trip to attend MVMCP for the first time!
