I took a color blocking class. I have always like the look, but have been a little inimidated buy the templates. They had an awesome project up on the wall and I tried to sign up, only the class was full. It was so full, they took names and ended up having a second class. It is the cutest Halloween layout!!!

Anyway, I bought 2 templates and hope to use them today to complete my sister's 2003 Disney book. (We're meeting them this weekend, so I cut it kinda close... LOL!!)

it is my favorite way to combine all those photos from an event that you only have one or two of. You can pick colors that suit the mood, like I used red/green/yellow/blue in my Mexico vacation book and filled the spots with different shots from the trip that didn't really fit anywhere else. Plus you can use up a ton of scrap paper this way. Love it love it love it! I have at least one set of colorblocked pages in every vacation album. I am thinking of doing an album this way, but it would take more time than the usuall ones do. :)

LOVE it!!! I like how you twisted it up a little by not putting the stickers on straight - gave it a very nice touch. Way to go!

I love your layout! I am just getting started with scrapbooking and am really excited to learn many ideas. I get together with some other Scrappers at church on the first Friday of the month. Can't wait to share some of the cool pages i've discovered. Guess that I need to start checking this board daily. And "two peas in a bucket".
