View Full Version : What should I wear to Madison Square Garden

in NYC? We are going on Friday to see the Wiggles with DD2. I got her a long sleeve Wiggles tshirt, but I'm not sure if sneakers & jeans are appropriate for the adults. I went looking for a pair of comfie boots/shoes at Payless to wear instead of sneakers, but couldn't find anything I liked...

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable wearing. Sneakers would be just fine. It's not a formal event - it's a Wiggles show! :)

Not to mention, you'll be climing up and down stairs to get to your seat - be comfortable!!!

I agree. MSG is just like any other coliseum, just bigger! If you're up on the high side, hopefully, they'll have the escalators running. However, when I was there, I never did find any down ones, so we had to use stairs any time we wanted to go down.

Jeans and a Tee Shirt..

We saw there show last year.. My Son loved it, the kids in the isles dancing, the wiggles came out into the thearter..
My daughter spilled popcorn all over in the first 3 min, 6 dollars in the trash.. Oh well.. We had a great time..

Be sure to bring roses for Dorothy. We didn't know to 2 years ago. The cast will come up in the stands personally and get them for her.

is that enough? Should I bring a bone for Wags? Will they pose fpr pictures/autographs with DD2? How much approx. do they charge for tshirts, etc.?

My DH 2 yo DD and my mom are going tomorrow. I'm taking DS 6 to see the Incredibles after hid hakf day of school.I wish I was going though, I hate to admit! I have to see if we can get roses tomorrow morning, I didn't know about that. But if I was going I would wear sneakers to be comfy. HAve fun!!

Yes, you can pose for a picture when they come up for the rose. It's a quickie, but they will let you. One rose from the craft store is enough. I don't remember about a bone for Wags. I don't think so.
We got a tshirt, I don't think they were priced too bad. $10 or 12 maybe.
