Does anyone have information on Disney theme park music? I went to WDW in '90 and I really thought the music they played in the park was great. The music during the parades was also good, but my absolute favorite I remember is that at the end of the night when everyone was leaving they played songs with a woman singing that I just thought was perfect for Disney, and I long(sp?) to hear it.

The music they play nowadays in the park, especially during parades just doesn't come close to what I remember.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a hold on this music? I've tried buying the park music CD's but I guess this is more of the current music they play.

Any information would be appreciated. Thx

I download music (mp3's) from a file sharing software called Limewire. www.limewire.com It is a free download and free to search and download, there is a pay version, but not necessary.

I did a search using "disney theme park" under the audio tab and came up with many mp3s.

IE:

Disney world theme park music-20,000 leagues area
Disney theme park music-main street usa
disnty theme park music-electric parade

and many more, give it a try!

I have 159 songs (8.7 hours, 476.8 MB) from the theme parks divided into 13 albums (Main Street USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Toontown, Tommorrowland, Magic Kingdom Show and Parades, Futrureworld, World Showcase, Epcot Shows and Parades, Disney Studios and Animal Kingdom). The music spans from 1971 to present day. It includes music from the original Tiki Room to Stich Encounter area music, and most things in between. I would be surprised if I don't have the song your looking for. PM me, and I'll see what I can do to send you a copy.

Careful now!

Remember - the RIAA kills a kitten every time someone shares an .MP3 file!

There are also a couple of newsgroups where you can apparently download Disney music.

Just search for binaries and disney and you should find them.

Hey Guys... just remember those who are broadcasting on LIVE 365 are paying to do so. When you record thier music like that you are stealing from them.

Wow, very cool. You'd think that Disney would try to get the sale rights to these songs, compile them, and market it. There are certainly enough people that ask about them.
