Anyone done a Grand Gathering Event?

We are doing a Grand Gathering in February, and were wondering if anyone has done any of the 4 choices that are only for the groups(Pirate fireworks cruise, Priority for Illuminations, Private Safari, or Breakfast at Tony's)??? Am trying to decide if they're worth it for everyone. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the DIS! I'm so glad you found us and I hope you can visit often. I've never experienced a grand gathering, so I'm just going to bump this back to page one for you, so that some of our veterans can offer advice.

We did the fireworks cruise in August and it was awesome!!! Best thing we did as a group all week and definately worth the money.

We have the Good Morning Gathering planned for Feb. 8, 2005 at Tony's in the MK. Will post report uopn return.

We are doing some of the Grand Gathering events during our Mardi Gras trip. Are ya'll planning on doing any of the other events during that week? There are about 30 of us from La. that are apart of our Grand Gathering. It will be neat hearing all the southern accents that week!

It depends on the event. Ours for the fireworks voyage was $30 per person. The cheapest ones I think were about $20something per person for the breakfasts. Definately worth the money though. You can't get a better view of Wishes!
