Just wondering, anyone having any luck with airfare from Pittsburgh? Seems like everyones airfare rates are dropping and Pit-Mco just stays at 194. By the way, I'm looking for airfare in December. Are airline rates usually discounted in this month? I don't know if I should book at the 194 or just keep waiting.

The cheapest I've got airfare from Pittsburgh to Orlando is 184.00. If you would go later in the day, say the 4:30 flight instead of the early morning flight, I believe the cost of the flight is somewhat lower.

We paid $168.00 from PIT to MCO. A non-stop flight on Nov 2. I booked on Jan 2.

I consider anything under $200.00 a good price for a non-stop flight.

We got $174 for a flight in August that we booked in May. That is leaving and returning on a Friday. (you can usually get less if you book mid-week.)
I too think that anything under $200 RT is a good price. I was pleasantly surprised when I got this fare!

About two weeks I booked 3 RT tickets from PIT to MCO on USAir for Labor Day weekend. This fare was good until the end of October. On the way down I got a nonstop flight but I do have a layover on the way back. I could have booked a nonstop for the way back but I wanted to come back on the last flight. Anyway check the fares on US Air's website every day. US Air is the only carrier which flys nonstop from Pittsburgh. Sign up for Travelocity's fare watcher and check US Air every day. This price is definitely the cheapest I have ever got, but it is possible to get really cheap fares if you are diligent. $200 is the everyday fare. Be patient. If you are at all flexible, you can still get a decent flight even one month in advance. I would wait for a really good sale.

I got tickets for Nov. 1-6 going from Akron to Pitt to Orlando for $180 each. That was with US Airways.

the sales for Dec haven't com eout yet. for last dec I got mine on oct 15th and it was 150 per person. you can possibly get it for the 136-168.50 per person. heck las feb it was 98 per person. and its gone down to 129 too. its one of those fares that you must check on a daily basis.
