We (husband, 9yr son and I) are going to Disney in Oct with MIL. MIL has been to Disney with her other grandchildren, first time with my son. This is her very first time staying onsite - I have us reserved at Wilderness Lodge courtyard for 6 nights. And MIL has never ever had a character meal on Disney property - only at Vero Beach. I have 3 character meals planned in addition to 5 other PS. And I reserved the Magic kingdom fireworks cruise. Of course I am paying for all I have reserved. I cant wait to see MILs reaction to my idea of Disney. It will definately be a new experience to her.

Wow...Sounds like you have done your homework. I hope you and your family enjoy your time at WDW this fall. We are eating at Wilderness Lodge's Whispering Canyon during our stay. I hope it is enjoyable...Have a good one!

She is going to have so much fun! And I bet she'll be so surprised when she discovers how nice it is to be staying on property so close to the Magic Kingdom.

We have also travelled with family members who had different ideas of theme park touring. Were they ever impressed when we taught them about early entry, character meals, and the convenience of PS!

Have a great time! :)
