I just found out that 5 of the 6 unions that voted on the contract with Disney rejected it. What does that mean to people planning trips to WDW in the very near (see my counter) future? Any impact at all?

A federal mediator has been called in which I think delays all strikes until he/she declares an impasse.

Also, the really intersting thing I learned is that while the union claims to represnet over 20,000 CMs, they only collect dues from about 12,000 so.... will the ones who don't care enough about the union to actually join strike? Also, I think it was 4 of 6 unions that rejected it... so will the two that accepted the offer stay on strike? Lots of unknowns here. Florida is not traditionally a union stronghold where there would be community pressure not to cross the line. There would be pressure from your fellow employees however.

When the votes were counted it was 5 out of the 6 unions voted to Reject the Contract.
