Mara - The last day in FL the kids wanted to get maximum time in the pool so we stayed at the resort for the first part of the day. DD was tired of the breakfast items we had provided for her in the room so we went down to the Mara. She had a bagel sandwich (bagel, cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon). She devoured it so I guess it was good. DS had the Mickey waffle which he couldn't finish (so I got to try it). It was good too. I got the kids breakfast meal which was scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes w/onions & peppers, a biscuit and bacon and/or sausage. For $3.99 it was a great deal and quite filling (and I didn't even eat the biscuit). DH got the adult size version of the same thing. For most people, the jr version will do the trick!
Lunch was a quick affair, also at the Mara. DS had cheese pizza which he said was good, DD had mac n' cheese which was flavorless and they substituted a sugar free jello for the applesauce. They also had burgers, salads and a bunch of pre-made cold items. It was only fair.

Boma offers daily cookie decorating at 1:00 for guests so we went straight from lunch to Boma. Each child got a giraffe sugar cookie and there were bags of colored icing, sprinkles in the shape of mickey heads (I asked where I could buy them but unfortunately they're only made for the Disney and not available for sale) and gummi bears. Both children made wonderful creations and once I took photos of them, we scraped most of the icing off and DS and I ate them (DD got a bite but couldn't have any more because she had just finished lunch and had to wait before eating more carbs - since we were leaving that afternoon we couldn't save it in the room or anything). The cookies themselves were quite good and the kids had fun decorating!
Earl of Sandwich - Left AKL for the last time mid afternoon and drove to DTD to do last minute shopping. Decided to pick up food to eat at the airport since we had to be there by 5:30 but flight wasn't until 7ish. After looking over all the various menus, decided to get some sandwiches to go from the Earl of Sandwich. DD and I shared a Frenchy (country ham and brie with dijonaise type spread on incredibly good bread). DH got the Original which is roast beef, cheddar and a horeradish sauce. Each sandwich was $4.95 and they were huge. We bought them around 4:30 and asked them to wrap them well to travel. When we finally got around to eating them at our gate (and it was hard to resist that long) it was about 6:20. The sandwiches were still slightly warm and both were fantastic. Next time I'm not sharing with DD! Great value and really tasty!

And that concludes this trip of eating at WDW. Feel free to PM or reply to the thread with any questions! I'd be happy to relive these food moments for quite a while!
